Wrap-Around Child Care Provision

Before-and-after school childcare provision at St. Andrew’s Primary School

Our before and after school care is provided by PJs Childminding who run PJs 'Arrive and Thrive' Breakfast Club from 7.30am onwards and the after-school 'Stay and Play' club from 3.30pm until 6pm every school day, on the school premises. PJs is managed by Paul Dickson (who is also our ex-chair of School Governors).

Our before and after school provisions are OFSTED registered (with an ‘Outstanding’ certificate). Paul meets all the necessary legal requirements and holds certificates such as First aid, insurance and safeguarding, etc.

Arrive and Thrive Breakfast Club includes a healthy breakfast and drink for all children, with safe indoor play in the school hall.

Stay and Play Club activities are based around free choice of play and children have access to the school computers (age appropriate), Playstation PS3, numerous board games, art supplies, books etc. Children also have the option of outdoor play in the school playground.
